Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. The experimental group (30 subjects) was given sessions of Yoga Nidra for 30 minutes in the morning for 3 months (5days in a week). The control group was given simple supine rest or Shavasana. Assessments were made on both the groups at baseline and after 3 months of intervention. The assessments included were, State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Verbal Multidimensional Scoring (VMS), and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Data analysis and Results: The yoga group showed significantly improvement as compared to the control group. Conclusion: The 12 weeks of Yoga Nidra practice has shown to be effective in reducing anxiety, Stress & Pain in Primary Dysmenorrhoea. Hence Yoga Nidra can be effectively used as an adjunct in the management of Primary Dysmenorrhoea.
