Study of Stressors in Public Banks Of Bhopal- An Empirical Analysis

Abstract
In today’s scenario, workplaces become so strenuous that employee feels difficulty to manage their selves at job and job conditions. Nowadays environment condition and jobs are highly demanding which pose challenges and uncertainties for employees as stressors. The aim of this study is to analyses the stressors which affect employee’s performance. Since every employee has specific role in the organization ad supposed fulfill their role in satisfactory manner, such roles sometimes create stressor that has been identified in the research that affects the employees of public and private banks. The sample size of the study comprised 50 respondents from public banks (SBI, PNB) of middle level. The finding of this study would help banking sectors to better understanding of stressor and its impact on employee’s performance. Academicians can use the findings to build models to expand stress managerial domain. Statistics shows that stress due to role isolation (SRW=0.87) is the highest. Role expectation conflict (SRW= 0.77) is another stressor.
